Hello Friends!

I know it's been a very long time since I made any postings on this blog.  I want to personally say 'thank you' for visiting this blog page and as well showing your #DisneySide by playing our simulations over at Themagical.nl !

Themagical team are safe and healthly as we exited the post-COVID years right now.  We thank you for checking in with us on our personal social media accounts over the post-COVID years.

:: Happy 25th Anniversary DCA ::

February 8, 2001 was the official date when 'Disney's California Adventure' park opened in Anahem, California. Within walking distance of the original Disneyland Park Resort, it was quite an undertaking as it was themed of sights of the state of California.

25 years later, this park had major theme changes and newer ride attractions were added and as well later rethemed.

As we look back on the wonderful ride attractions that Disney created for this unquie theme park, we added some of those wonderful attractions on our website. You can play our unofficial simulations that came from DCA.

Starting with our dubbed at the time of the internet was changing over to #HTML5 our very own 'First Ever HTML5 simulation of it's kind on the internet' .... SOARIN'. 

Even though this simulation ride attraction is based off the 'Walt Disney World' ride layout, it was imported from Disney's California Adventure park for it's "Year Of A Million Dreams" promotion to be added to EPCOT theme park.

Grizzly River Rapids simulation was Themagical's first ever water ride attraction.  It was such a delight for our visitors when we introduce this particular simulation.

It was greatly received and it's been one of most played simulations on Themagical's website.

Another great ride attraction over at Disney's California Adventure where you take a expedition raft tour of the mountain range of the great Grizzy Bear rock work, lush tree landscapes, and the rough water rapids that you know you'll be getting WET!

It's a great welcome to be relief of the heat during the summers in California.

Presenting Disney's California Adventure 'Toy Story Midway Mania' is another ride attraction where guests are shrunk down to a size of a toy to play in Andy's bedroom in a carnival playset style shooter game.

This is another 'first of its kind simulation' by using #HTML5 coding without the need of Adobe Flash Player.  Most of your smartphones, tablets, gaming platforms systems, and web browsers can handle the HTML5 coding.

:: Reighard's Personal Life Update ::

I had some personal milestones myself as I became a father of 2 in 2020/2022 , it's been a blessing as I entered fatherhood which at times made it difficult for me to write on here and as well the challenging times of COVID-19 situation and post-COVID.

I did whatever I could to help Martijn (founder/webmaster/simulator creator of Themagical.nl) while I did the night shift mode durning the nights with graphic design and research.  He understood the challenges of being a parent and the little time you have for personal time.

I was helping behind the scenes whenever I could and definitely grateful for my assistance.

:: TMNEWSIM: A new project: Droomvlucht Simulation, Efteling ::

Currently working on a passion project: a fully playable HTML5 simulation of the legendary Efteling darkride, Droomvlucht. From the spiraling heights of the Castles in the Sky to the glow of the Troll Swamp, I’m recreating the magic one line of code at a time. It’s been a challenge getting the unique suspended ride physics just right, but the dream is slowly coming to life!

Stay tuned for more updates—the gates to the dream world are opening this year.

On February 1, 2019 , Disney ­• Pixar Toy Story Midway Mania over at Disney's California Adventure park finally debut on Themagical.nl website. 

This is a 'first of its kind' simulation on the internet as it features #HTML5 coding interactive elements that can be played on smartphones/tablets/gaming platform devices due to the latest web browser rendering technology!

Martijn and Reighard was hard at work 'behind the scenes' by creating this newest simulation experience.  We hope you got a change to play it online while it was in beta and now general public release.

We hope you are all enjoying your summer holiday break with your friends and family!  The team at Themagical are also enjoying our summer activities and trips too!  We want to 'congratulate to the class of 2018' for completing their education and taking a break from all the school studies! Well Done 'Class Of 2018' !

With the website being updated, a new link appeared on the navigation bar "build a sim".  This new link gives users an insight of what it takes to create their one-of-a-kind simulation and how to make one for all to enjoy. You can read more about it by clicking here.

Introducing Ride Sims Simulations Exclusively For Themagical

Ride Sims donates 'Disney Ride Simulations' to Themagical

Enhances simulation current lineup for Themagical, new keyboard brings newer experiences to similar simulations, intact all Ride Sims Disney simulation lineup from the (now) dysfunction Ride Sims website.

Ride Sims community members and fans of the website can continue playing their favorite 'Disney Ride Simulations' and finding out newer or similar simulations without the use of using keyboard.

Themagical pursues to create new simulations in the near future by using current software for development and HTML5 to potentially reach more mobile smartphones/tablets audience.

"Ride Operators, we are pleased to announce that you can carry on enjoying some of our simulations!

We have officially donated our simulations to our friends over at themagical.nl.

At the moment we only have a few available as we have to go through each one individually and recode them to make it work.

Themagical.nl (Netherlands) and RideSims.com (United Kingdom) announced today that they entered into a definitive agreement under which Themagical will acquire RideSims.com 'Disney Ride Simulations'.

Themagical's acquisition of Ride Sims 'Disney Ride Simulations' provides both Ride Sims community and Themagical community to enjoy Ride Sims 'Disney Ride Simulations' from their now dysfunction website.

With this donation, Themagical will be the ONLY exclusive website to acquire and display Ride Sims Disney Ride Simulations.  With the 'Official Seal' stamp marks it can only be played at Themagical.nl website.

This new agreement provide Themagical community to enjoy new enhanced magic of playing their favorite simulation attraction by using a keyboard to operate the simulation.  The Ride Sims community will enjoy newer simulations without the use of the keyboard to operate.

The 'Official Stamp' Ride Sims Donated to Themagical.nl presents an agreement of those who are playing the simulation agrees to ONLY play at Themagical.nl website and the exclusive rights to be played at Themagical.

With the duplication of similar ride attraction simulations, it brings a fresher way of playing a simulation with the use of a keyboard or mouse clicks. 

Ride Sims team wishes the best for Themagical to continue of developing newer simulation experiences and learn fresher ways to bring our favorite Disney Ride Attractions to life.  The Ride Sims team feels Themagical has a great community and hope Ride Sims community continues on playing their simulation games at a new home and community.

Hello October....Simulation Updates and Bug Fixes

Hello October!

Welcome to the month of October!  Here in the United States, we are experiencing the changes of the seasons.  From the summer hot sun to cool cold crisp air, the changes of tree leaves from green to reddish orange.

This time of season also have the fall harvest of all types of pumpkins, squashes, and apples!  Hot apple cider, hot chocolate and fuzzy sweaters to keep us warm while enjoy the cool crisp air.

Also its a big event where many children dresses up (and adults too) in fun and festive costumes for Halloween.  Nice and enjoyable parties and as well the night time spooky scary haunted places at amusement parks before they close for the season.

The team here at Themagical wishes you a 'Happy Halloween' and enjoyable October season!

:: Simulation Updates :: 

Many of our community gamers over at Themagical love the experience of playing the simulations.  At times there may be a bug or an unexpected disruption to the 'magic' while playing a particular simulation.

Martijn (Founder/Webmaster/Simulation Creator) has been busy updating and fixing some of bug issues to few simulations.  In his free spare time this month, he was able to fix/updated/tweaked of some of your issues in relation to bug glitches and game performance.  

Below are some simulations that were updated.

Tower Of Terror (WDW DHS) : **updated v.1.6.1

Few of our members message on our forums with an issue with some of the 'elevators', 'guests', and other bug related issues.

::Changelog:: 
- Version Number: Changed from v.1.6.0 to v.1.6.1 to reflect the bug fixes/updates.
- "Show Fullscreen" Button: Doesn't work when clicked. (*fixed)
- Elevator Sequence For Loading/Unloading: An elevator is fully loaded and automatic doors turned off, the door won't close. (*fixed)
- Visitor Loading/Unloading Bug: Peeps can also load/unload the pre-show rooms without the doors being open. (*fixed)
- **Added 2 New Videos: Coding was broken/re-established for in-game experience. (*fixed)
- Bug Issues: Found new bug issues in build v.1.6.0 (*fixed)


Phantom Manor (DLP) : **updated v.20150928-010

- **Added Version Number: Added Coding Version Number to reflect update changes/future tracking changelog

Hey Everybody!


It's been awhile since I've wrote for the blog.  Though being 'under the weather' with the recent flu virus, I've manage to think something to write about that I thought we be interesting to share to you all.
I'm going to give the title "Simulations of the Internet" by which the topic of simulations websites that came and gone.  As well to new and current simulations websites that I've played and a regular player.


Let's begin, shall we?

"Simulations of the Internet"

 ( **Key: No Longer Online / Current / New )

 Themagical.nl  : This website came online on December 1, 2000.  Because of this website, many websites started creating their own simulations based on theme parks around the world.

Themagical started out with a small selection with Space Mountain 2, Tower Of Terror, Phantom Mansion and Big Thunder Mountain.  Later in 2007, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Play It and Expedition Everest was added.

The website started to grow in member numbers as well more simulations were added from Luke's website: Peter Pan Flight, Rock N' Rollercoaster and Mission Space.

Though upcoming simulation was announced in 2011 was Test Track and in 2012-13 Soarin simulation are both in the works of pre-development.

Disneysims.co.uk (formerly known as 'Disneysims.google.com' and 'Disneysims.blogspot.com') : The launch of the website was around 2005 approx or earlier. Disney Sims was created & operated by Luke Galloway that had flash games to be ride-op of Disney rides.  Before his site went offline, we were  granted permission to upload two of his simulations 'Peter Pan' and 'Mission Space'.  He made quite a collection at the time. 

His simulations he created were: Expedition Everest, Rockn' Rollercoaster, Soarin, Haunted Mansion,

Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage, and coming soon projects were: Toy Story Mania and Pirates Of The Caribbean.

Sadly, they went offline in 2008. But you can search online in google to see some of the simulations. But to warn you in advance, they are quite hard to find online. Good Luck if you do find them!

Peter Pan's Simulation: POS Computer Format

The date of this website launch isn't known to my knowledge but there's many forum sites on the web shown that this is relatively new in late 2000's. 

This person created a very realistic Peter Pan's Flight Cast Member Console simulation with zone marks and everything, very cool!

Ridesims.com (Click here to play.) : New to the Internet world, the creators of "Towers Nerds" website brought a new web sensation to disney simulations fan! They came online January 5, 2012 and brought a nice collection to start off when they launched!

They have brought so many new simulations to date like: Tower Of Terror (Disneyland), Radiator Spring Racers, Star Tours 2.0, Grizzly Run (DL HK), Space Mountain (DL HK) and so much more!

http://www.disneysimulations.fr/ : The date when they came online is not known to my knowledge, but the website forums shows that they were online in the early 2000's. Link here to the forums.

Though they didn't have many simulations that I can think of since its been so long they were online.  This site was dedicated to the Disneyland Paris Resort ride attractions.  

 I can remember they had an Tower Of Terror, Rock 'N' Roller coaster, Castle Fireworks Display show and Space Mountain 2 simulations.  Another one that didn't make it into a simulation was pretending to be a Cast Member in the Admissions Department.

 Sadly as well, they went offline in 2007 and there's no way of getting these simulations either.

Virtual Disney.nl : Sadly this website didn't even make it to their own launch date. We've have talked to the creators of the website. They were hoping an launch in 2008 but because of web hosting and domain costs were too high they had to abandon it. 

We had some insights of their creations and we're happy to share with you the website and logo design from their simulation site.
